Considering that to get from our neck of the woods to the intended February destination of Lacock on the bus would be somewhat tortuous, if not impossible, we were this month car-sharing. We normally try to use our Concessionary Bus Passes for these outings, so thanks to those who volunteered to drive the eleven on today's jaunt. The weather was dry and bright but, as you'd expect of February, cold. Fortunately, we were able to park in the village car park and get a warming coffee in the Stables Cafe. Discovering that both the Museum and House were temporarily closed, most went their separate ways, but obviously inspired by being in the Cradle of Photography so to speak, we all acquired several masterpieces each!
We lunched at one of the available pubs, choosing to ignore the touristy- (average quality*/ pricey*/fancifully named*)
