Andrew Marker FRPS - Landscape & Travel Photography

Monday Club 2nd August

I thought it might be an idea to start our Monday Club 2021 off on Monday August 2nd with a local visit to newly upgraded Willsbridge Mill…..a lot of work has been done regarding landscaping the various areas there.

If Members who would like to meet at my house for coffee at say 10am I would be delighted to see you all after such a long time.

We could then make our way to the Mill for a walk around and perhaps take a few pics. For those who would like, we could then make our way to perhaps Wetherspoons in Hanham or somewhere else for lunch and a pint!

If you could please let me know how many for coffee that would be great. Please refer to my email for my number - Billy Mackie

We visit the large and historic village of Evercreech near Shepton Mallet where we meet outside the village church at 10.30am which if open is well worth a visit. We will go on a two and a half mile flat walk which may be muddy in parts and this will take in many of the old and historic building, domestic and commercial, I aim to book a table at The Bell Inn for 1.00pm which is a large and very good pub opposite the church. If the weather is good we you may want to visit somewhere else in the afternoon.
